Brunch at the Whitfield

Wow. This brunch. Wow.

This is really all I had to say as I ate some god damn delicious food on Saturday.

Long story short, I needed new tires, and the only appointment I could get was at 9am on a Saturday due to my busy ass schedule. Of course my little sister was staying with me this weekend, so I had to bribe her into joining me with the promise of a delicious breakfast. Luckily enough, this place delivered.

Damn!!!!!!

First of all, the ambience. The Whitfield is in the Ace Hotel, which is in an old YMCA building. Cool as fuck! The brunch area was filled with natural light and plants- two of my favorite things.

Does that look like the perfect cup of coffee or what???

My sister and I couldn’t decide between a sweet or savory breakfast, so we decided to get one of each and just split them. We went with a blueberry lemon ricotta pancake or something like that, as well as scrambled eggs with sausage and toast. Holy shit, man. Those scrambled eggs. They changed me for the better.

This spread. It was too delicious. The pancake was like a literal pan cake. Lol. But seriously, it was lit. I honestly just can’t get over the eggs. You never really realize how good scrambled eggs can be until you have them made right. They were so rich, so buttery….I’m legit still thinking about them 2 days later.

To be honest, we loved the Ace Hotel so much that we came back later that night for drinks. I must say, they know how to make a good Moscow Mule.
